What’s New (Changelog) in AffiliateWP v2.37.4

• Added: Trusted Proxies setting (Settings › Advanced) for sites behind a load balancer, reverse proxy or CDN, so visits and fraud checks record each visitor's IP address instead of the proxy's. Cloudflare is recognized automatically, and sites that connect directly, or whose host already passes the visitor's address, need no changes. When AffiliateWP detects a load balancer or the Sucuri firewall, it shows a notice with a one-click setup. Behind another CDN, such as Bunny, Fastly or CloudFront, the notice asks you to add the CDN's IP ranges. Until the setting covers your proxy, visits record its address
• Changed: Strengthened security across the plugin, including how admin screens handle data and how AffiliateWP verifies and processes external requests
• Changed: A commission set back from Paid to Unpaid is included in the next payout, including scheduled automatic payouts. Marking it Paid again returns it to its original payout. Commissions set back before updating are not included automatically. To include one, mark it Paid and then Unpaid again
• Fixed: Affiliates being removed from their affiliate group, and losing the group's commission rate, when the database briefly failed to answer, for example during a lock wait timeout
• Fixed: LearnDash 5.x purchases paid through Stripe Connect not creating a referral, even though the affiliate's visit was tracked. Purchases made before updating are not credited automatically
• Fixed: AffiliateWP admin screens showing fields without their borders, cards without their shadows, and switched-on toggles that looked switched off when LearnDash was active
• Fixed: A paid commission going back to Unpaid when Thrive Apprentice received the same Stripe payment twice, or when a Ninja Forms submission was restored from the trash
• Fixed: Pay Affiliates paying every eligible affiliate, not just the ones selected under Include, when two or more affiliates or an affiliate group were selected and "Pay everyone this batch via" was set to Stripe, PayPal or Store Credit. Only the selected affiliates are paid now, and an empty group pays no one
• Fixed: Pay Affiliates sending more than the amount shown in the preview and confirmation when "Pay everyone this batch via" was set to PayPal or Stripe and some commissions had been set back from Paid to Unpaid or were still part of another payout, such as a PayPal payout not yet claimed. The amount sent now matches the amount confirmed
• Fixed: On sites served on a non-standard port, common on staging and local sites (for example example.test:8443), affiliate links, including Copy Link, custom links and the links in emails, leaving out the port, and the affiliate login sending affiliates to that wrong address instead of the Affiliate Area
• Fixed: Apostrophes and quotes typed into the affiliate registration form, such as O'Neil, coming back with a backslash after the form showed an error (for example an email address already in use), and being saved that way when the form was submitted again
• Fixed: Line breaks in the promotion method answer being removed when an affiliate registers
• Fixed: Busy sites slowing down, or pages showing a critical error, when the database briefly failed to answer. Optimized database table checks to reduce queries and improve reliability during temporary database interruptions
